Viewing Album: Morocco Royal Train SPV circa 1980
By:
Paul Wilson
Dates:
4/3/2012 - 4/3/2012
Album Info:
Rare (poor) photo of one of the 6 cars built by Budd for the King of Morocco. Searching the Internet gives little or no info about the disposition of this train. Story was the cars were 6 inches too high for the Moroccan railroad due to the faulty conversion of millimeters to feet and inches in the design phase. Budd supposedly flew a planeload of engineers to Morocco to try to solve the problem.
